Director James Marsh’s The Theory Of Everything
is a beautiful love story in itself. The
fact it’s based on the life of the great physicist Stephen Hawking and his wife
Jane is a bonus. And, topping that is
the fact there are two outstanding, award-worthy performances by Eddie Redmayne
and Felicity Jones in the main roles.
Screenwriter Anthony McCarten’s adaptation of Jane
Hawking’s account of her and Stephen’s relationship is tender, revealing and fascinating. The story flows without
flaws, aided by the superb editing of Jinx Godfrey.
The Theory Of Everything is well
worth your attention and should appeal to those who or not frequent filmgoers. Hopefully, it will get them into theaters
more often.
