Underworld: Blood Wars

Kate Beckinsale makes a great action hero of any sex in Underworld: Blood Wars, but Director Anna Foerster, unfortunately, does not know how to orchestrate battle scenes that make sense.

Dealing with characters that are up to nearly a thousand years old, you might think they knew something about battle tactics, but Anna and Writer Cory Goodman put them into laughably stupid situations that take one beyond any suspension of disbelief and ruin the work of the worthy cast and crew. To be clear, it’s not that the battle scenes are not good, but that the characters got into such stupid situations in the first place.

Oh, well…the ending leaves an opening for another in the series …hopefully managed by a better production team.

I give Underworld: Blood Wars a 2.8 out of 5.
