Director Aleksander Bach’s
Hitman:
Agent 47 is a slick shoot-em-up that, for some reason, has not been
getting good press.
Writers Skip Woods and
Michael Finch have produced an interesting story about humans imbued
with advanced capabilities. Agent 47
(Rupert Friend) is one of them, sent by a corporation to find the “father” of
the process (Ciarán Hinds). In the
process, he goes after his daughter (Hannah Ware), who has advanced powers of
her own. Together, they go up against
the corporation and its heavy (Zachary Pinto).
The action is exciting and Production Designer Sebastian
T. Krawinkel’s sets are top drawer.
If you like action films, Hitman:
Agent 47 is worth a view. I give it a 3.4 out of 5.
