Writer/Director Rawson Marshall
Thurber’s Central Intelligence takes a while to get off the ground with a
bit too much back story, but, once it gets going, the going is a lot of fun.
Interestingly, the bulk of
the humor comes, not from Kevin Hart, but Dwayne Johnson.
While the gags and thrills
are hit and miss, overall the fun wins out and, whether you’re a fan or not,
you should enjoy the experience.
I give Central
Intelligence a 3.5 out of 5.
