Director Hans Petter Moland’s Cold Pursuit is a revenge
thriller with a macabre sense of humor.
Liam Neeson plays Nels Coxman, the operator of a giant
snow plow at the Kehoe, Colorado ski town. When his son is killed by a local drug
cartel, Nels decides to take down the entire organization, but soon finds
himself in the middle of a feud between rival cartels, one of which is run by
Native Americans.
Thanks to Writer Frank Baldwin’s wry script and the
Colorado location, this thriller is well above average for fans of Death
Wish-type films. I give it a 3.9
out of 5.
