Director Tanya Wexler’s Buffaloed is an
amusing comedy following the misadventures of a con-woman (Zoey Deutch) from her
teens to twenty as she tries anything to rise from her blue-collar roots in
Buffalo, New York.
Despite the fact things always go wrong and she spends
several of her young years in prison, she never seems to age. However, since this is a farce, it merely adds
to the fun.
Thanks to Zoey and Judy Greer, who plays her mother, the
nonsensical plot will keep a smile on your face.
I give Buffaloed a 3.8 out of 5.
