Director Miguel Arteta’s Like A Boss is a quintessential
“chick flick” in which two childhood friends (Rose Byrne and Tiffany Haddish)
create a cosmetic company with great products, but without financial discipline.
A successful entrepreneur (Salma Hayek) offers to bail them
out for a large share of their company and starts to create an atmosphere not
only antithetical to their way of doing business, but which threatens to destroy
their relationship.
This film will be fun for female friends to attend together,
but most guys will take a pass.
I give Like A Boss a 3.4 out of 5.
