What People Say

Writer/Director Iram Haq’s What Will People Say is about gross, disgusting, filthy people, who violate their daughter and think it’s honorable.

The film is well-made and Maria Mozhdah is admirable in her portrayal of Nisha, the girl who keeps being violated by her scum family, but this film is not an entertainment.  It is more a docu-drama worth seeing only if you want to be mad at the world.

Nevertheless, I give What Will People Say a 3.8 out of 5.
