Writer/Producer/Director/Actor Elizabeth Banks’ Charlie’s
Angels is a fun romp full of
glitz and glamor, in the vein of the Roger Moore Bond films.
Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott and Ella Balinska make up a
fine trio of Angels and the story gives an interesting take on Bosley or, more
accurately, the Bosleys (here
Elizabeth Banks, Patrick Stewart and others).
What’s more, you’ll finally find out who Charlie is.
Don’t expect any serious drama. This is strictly a cotton candy approach to
the saga. But, it’s also highly amusing
and full of fun action.
I give Charlie Angels a 3.7 out of 5.
