Hustlers

Writer/Director Lorene Scafaria’s Hustlers is a slick look at high class strippers pre and post the recession that hit Wall Street in 2008.

Jennifer Lopez gives her best performance to date as a doyenne of the craft, who takes a budding stripper/dancer (Constance Wu) under her wing.

Together with their team that included the talents of Cardi B, Keke Palmer, Trace Lysette and Lizzo, the women would entice wealthy businessmen to parties, get them drunk or doped and run up their credit cards.

Hustlers is well written and directed and moves along at a fun pace albeit a bit too long. I give it a 3.6 out of 5.
