Bombshell

Director Jay Roach’s Bombshell is just that…a powerful exposé of Roger Ailes (John Lithgow), the man who created the Fox News disease.

Writer Charles Randolph’s script plays out almost as a docu-drama.  The difference here is that Charlize Theron, Nicole Kidman and Margot Robbie, three of Hollywood’s most beautiful actresses, play the parts (respectively) of Fox program hosts Megyn Kelly and Gretchen Carlson and a composite character of 20 Fox News Staffers.

All three shine and are backed up by a fabulous cast, including Kate McKinnon, Allison Janney, Connie Britton and Malcolm McDowell.

If you’ve ever been put in a situation where you have to make choices between saving your job and saving your integrity, this is a must-see.

I give Bombshell a 4 out of 5.
